Born and raised in Western Montana, Mariele Ivy grew up surrounded by nature and craftsmanship as the daughter of a wooden boat builder and gardener. Her first creation - a ribboned oyster shell necklace at age five - sparked a lifelong love of natural materials and mindful making. As founder of Young In The Mountains, Mariele is known for jewelry that honors the environment through ethical sourcing and thoughtful design.
