CAITLIN VELAZQUEZ-FAGLEY

Caitlin Velázquez-Fagley is a jeweler, designer and lifelong traveler. She was born and raised in New Mexico and continues to create her work (t)here.

Caitlin lived abroad in Spain for three years and upon returning, she enrolled in workshops and classes locally and in Italy to learn traditional metalsmithing techniques. On her travels, she keeps detailed notebooks with sketches of motifs and patterns from visits to museums and monuments and combines that with the arts aestheic of New Mexico.  Caitlin meticulously paints each oil painting on wood panel, hand carves her models from wax, and assembles each work by hand.
