Auryn Green Tourmaline Talisman Necklace

Auryn is a one-of-a-kind green tourmaline talisman necklace by Santa Fe artist Carol Wilkins, created for Teko Gallery’s BIRTHSTONES exhibition.

At its heart is a remarkable natural-surface green tourmaline, intentionally left untamed so its striations, inclusions, and natural texture remain part of the story. Smaller green tourmaline cabochons echo the center stone throughout the design, creating flashes of rich, earthy green.

Carol surrounds the stones with forged sterling silver, fused silver dust, and touches of 18K and 24K gold, building layers of texture and warmth that give Auryn the feeling of something discovered rather than made - part ancient artifact, part contemporary talisman.

Green tourmaline is an astrological stone associated with Taurus and Libra and has long been connected symbolically with vitality, strength, growth, and prosperity. Auryn was created as a talisman for the wearer - something to accompany her as she trusts her instincts, follows what calls her, and allows herself to flourish.
