Bird Ring II – Sterling Silver with Star Sapphire Eyes

A sculptural evolution of one of Alexis’ earliest designs, this ring was reimagined after her return to New Mexico, where she now lives alongside a family of sparrows that nest in her adobe walls. Their presence gave her a closer model to study, resulting in richer form and texture.

Hand-carved in sterling silver, the bird’s eyes are set with two 4mm star sapphires, giving the piece a lifelike glint. Expressive, sentimental, and one of a kind.
