Bird Ring II

Revisiting one of my first designs after a decade of metalsmithing. I recently moved back to New Mexico and inside the niches of my adobe home, I cohabitate with a beautiful sparrow family. I look at them every day and it was an honor to revisit forming them after having a closer model to study. The form and texture is certainly more developed since the first version of this ring.
