Scorpio Lapis & Opal Bolo Tie – Goodluck Handmade

A celestial take on the classic bolo tie by Hannah Weber of Goodluck Handmade, created for Teko Gallery’s BIRTHSTONES exhibition.

Hand-carved lapis lazuli fills the sterling silver bolo, revealing a scorpion surrounded by the stars of the Scorpio constellation. Tiny opal cabochons form shimmering points of light across the deep blue lapis, while subtle 14K yellow gold accents add warmth to the night-sky palette.

The bolo hangs from a substantial 4.85 mm sterling silver rope chain and is finished with sterling silver tips set with larger opal cabochons. From the carved lapis to the intricate hand-cut stone inlay, every element reflects Hannah’s background in metalsmithing and lapidary and her contemporary approach to traditional inlay.

Created in celebration of opal, an October birthstone and a gemstone associated with Scorpio.
